Cindee Moyer Doll

Hot melt glued the moss hair in place, plus sculpted and painted the bird in hand, attached with copious amount of hot melt glue. Since the "good" hand looks so nice, I've decided not to put a bird there. Her hair is supposed to form a nest with several eggs in it, which I think is creepy. So no eggs.

She looks nice.

Ichimatsu border, Gatherer doll

I am running out of flat gold, so I'm contemplating whether to abbreviate the ichimatsu border.
Top border detail.

Then onto the Cindee Moyer doll, Ms Gatherer. The face detail:

The "hair" consists of dried ferns. I will have to figure out a way to prevent the leaves from crumbling.

Next is dried clay sculpturing for the shoes and the birds.

Cindee Moyer Doll Hand

Finally successful in making the doll hand! This is about my sixth attempt. To turn the fingers I used a coffee stirrer and the eye end of a big needle, instead of the specialized "finger turning" tool.

The face sculpture still needs work. This is about my tenth attempt. Since I have mastered the doll hand, I think I will proceed with the rest of the doll, and leave the face alone for now.

Hydrangea leaves and stems

The hydrangea piece is almost done - only thing left are the edges, the top and the bottom. In other words, the scroll portions. I will have to think about that and research some more.

The art doll mean while is not doing good. I need to improve on the face sculpture. This is about my fifth attempt.

My ultimate goal -(dream on) - is this:
